Product Photoshoot
To really showcase the new Sonora piano designs and colors, we commissioned Lasse Wind, a Copenhagen based photographer, for the shoot, and we want to thank him for his exceptional work!
The idea behind locations
In the settings of Copenhagen and Hellerup, the photos capture the true spirit of Sonora pianos: a perfect blend of sophistication and innovation. Every shot reflects the vision behind these pianos, showcasing their compact bodies, sleek lines, and soulful colors that define Sonora’s signature style. Our collaboration with Lasse Wind aimed to not only highlight the beauty of Sonora pianos but also demonstrate their versatility in different settings. Whether in a modern city apartment or a traditional villa, Sonora pianos effortlessly complement any space.
First shoot
The first shoot took place in Copenhagen, Nordvest, in a newly built apartment. We photographed the Sonora 1 (black) and Sonora 3 (light oak) in various settings. Full-scale shots highlighted the entire instrument along with benches and other accessories, while close-ups focused on intricate elements like the keys, speakers, connectors, pedals, and unique design features.
Second Shoot
A couple of weeks later, we organized another shoot in Hellerup, in a villa. This featured the Sonora 1, Sonora 2, and Sonora 3 as well as the portable SEP-20. This time we had the pianos in a variety of color options, paired with matching Sonora benches. This session included a range of settings, in different rooms, with varying lighting conditions to capture the pianos in both bright and dim environments.
We also invited some friends to model with the pianos, playing and posing to bring the instruments to life. We spent the entire day meticulously setting up each shot to capture the right angles and atmospheres, showcasing the potential of Sonora’s exquisite designs.
